About Tim
Many years ago, Huron Forest and the AuSable River were playgrounds for Tim's parents and relatives. In 2002, his parents moved to Oscoda. Today, Tim and his son choose to live in Oscoda. Being an active member of the Oscoda Township Board of Trustees is Tim's way of giving back by improving conditions for his family and you.
Born in Detroit and raised in Southfield, Michigan on a small fruit and vegetable farm, Tim learned early the value of hard work, teamwork, and perseverance. He graduated high school with four years of Computer Science already under his belt before pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science Engineering at Michigan State University.
After college in 1986, Tim relocated to Los Angeles, California to work in aerospace and entertainment before forming T. L. Cummings, Inc. to provide computer and management consulting services to companies in such industries as oil, public utilities, technology, software, mortgage banking, life annuities, executive recruitment, and entertainment. Tim has owned and managed T. L. Cummings, Inc. for more than 24 years.
Tim wants to continue serving as your voice on the Township Board of Trustees, a voice that echoes your concerns and a voice that cares.
